By Jordan Mooney.

It’s incredible to think that it was all the way back in December 2013 that we interviewed the inimitable Andrey Ind of Russian metal group Grenouer.

Truth be told, when a press release for a new album came through, my first reaction was “already? It was only a few months ago when we had Blood on the Face sent in!”

Turns out that time really flies when you’re having fun.

Anyway!

The latest record from the seminal Ruski four piece, Unwanted Today, has had a release date announced, preorders opened and artwork revealed.

Grenouer are confident that this the payoff to nearly twenty years of work – their magnum opus, promising to be more mature than any of their previous output, spanning a touch more in the way of ‘alternative’ (we even have an opera singer in there – coo!) – which means that, for any self respecting Cat on the Wall reader, it’s of instant relevance. It looks like this will be an album for the ages, ladies and gents.

The album is releasing on March the 20th, 2015. You can preorder it now on itunes here.
